Headset Broke = :(
Well, I’ve been having trouble with my headset, the famous SteelSeries 5H v2, for awhile. It’s a great piece of equipment, mind you, but it broke about three months ago. I’ve kept soldering and gluing it back together (I really love this headset!). But it’s broke again (for the fourth time!) and I don’t have any soldering here at school. So I’ve got no means to fix it anymore… which means I’m without my favorite headset. I’ve considered buying a replacement for it. As I mentioned, it’s a fantastic headset. It featured superb sound...
Read MoreNew theme on blog!
Check out this beautiful, elegant new theme. I say it’s elegant, of course, since it’s from Elegant Themes! Sexy! So, besides this amazing new theme, I’ve gone through and tries to apply some more functionality and features to the site, updating a bit of old content, doing some editing, and just making it a bit more clear. There’s still a lot I need to do to get this blog up to date. But for any major updates I do complete, I’ll be sure to let you know via a new blog post. To keep up with what I’m doing on a more day-to-day basis, you suggest really try...
Read Moresing for absolution…
“… i will be singing, falling from your grace” Muse has some pretty powerful lyrics, but as always, they continue to just send chills through my body whilst listening to them. My new favorite song is “Sing for Absolution”, which I quoted above. Watch the music video of the song. It’s got some pretty interesting visuals. What is really interesting, is I watched that exact music video over a year ago. I hated this song. I thought it was slow and needed a better beat, and the chorus was lame. I was far more interested in listening to Hysteria or Time is...

Read MoreHome for Christmas Break… and busy!
Just came back home yesterday from Christmas break. The good news is I’m pretty sure I maintained my 4.0 GPA, expect I may have gotten a B in my Honors Core classes (English and History combined). I’ve still got my fingers crossed, though. Finals were a hellish, busy week for me. But things are about to get more hectic before they get relaxing! I may have come home, but I have a lot of stuff to do: Rework & Finish SectorNetwork.com (which will essentially be my new “projects” page from this site). Create a new FPSPhoto.com Create DavidCalder.ca Finish...
Read MoreWhat I'm listening to
I love my music. I’ve been listening to a lot of new (and old) bands since I’ve come to college, too. My music horizons have really expanded. My favorite genres usually revolve around alternative, rock, indie, and occassionally some punk, techno, classics, and others. Favorite bands are Muse, Weezer, Silversun Pickups, Simon and Garfunkle, and others. You can view more specific data on my music I’m listen to at my last.fm profile (tracks all my music). I’ve also installed my Weekly top chart onto the sidebar. Read the full story to listen to a few select tracks...
