[singlepic=62,135,95,left]While Mass Effect occasionally suffers from low frame rate, some repetitive gameplay, and occasional frustrating moments, overall the game offers a lot more than it’s negatives. In fact, it’s one of favorite stories within a game, if not my all-time favorite. It offers an epic adventure through an unforgettable universe, that really sets the bar even higher for all video games. Despite my complaints, especially about combat, I can easily overlook them, because I cannot set this game down. And until I wrote this review, it took up every spare moment of my time. It offers something special, especially to people who value good storytelling.
[singlepic=66,135,95,right] It’s hard to put Mass Effect into a genre. It’s not really a shooter and the RPG elements aren’t that large of a focus, despite being a load of fun. In some ways, it seems more than a game, or at least what you’d expect. Whatever Mass Effect is, it’s completely entertaining and compelling to play, and if your a gamer who appreciates a good story, you will love this game. Your biggest complaint will simply be wanting more. When is the sequel coming?
