Arrgghhhh! Life sucks :(
Well, just got back to school today. Woke up tired as heck, and I still haven’t shaken myself out of it. In class, I had already done all my work, so I just sat around and watched everyone play catch up. Bored myself nearly to death. Then, I’ve got 3 game reviews. 2 of the games are actually quite good – Battlefield 2142 for the PC and Call of Duty 3 for the Playstation 2. However, I’m also stuck with WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2007, which right now I’d give about a 5/100. The game is confusing as heck to me (lost 6 fights in a row on Easy), the controls seem...

Read MoreGT: Sims 2 Pets (PS2) and El Matador (PC) Reviews
I got my El Matador review up quite awhile ago on GamingTrend, but figured I’d link it from here as well. Also, my Sims 2 Pets review went up a couple days ago, too. I should be getting Battlefield 2142 from GT in a couple of days, and perhaps another game or two that needs review. Also keep an eye out for my review of Bully (PS2), which I’m in the process of...

I’m a pretty big fan of Oblivion. I loved Morrowind, and Oblivion seemed to be a pretty big improvement. The more I play Oblivion, though, the more I see areas in which I’d love to see improved. Graphics are nice, but what about the style? Sound is good, but is lacking in voice acting. Do you agree? Read this article on areas I think could use some improvement, and I’d love to see in other games as well as the next Elder Scrolls game. Graphics - Oblivion is one of the most graphics intensive games on the market currently. And for good reason, the game looks great. HDR,...
Read MoreWeekend Recap
Friday was loaf around the house day, and fairly uneventful. Saturday was Mountaineers’ Football. Since it was a home game verus the Bearcats, I got to use my season tickets and head out to the game with my stepdad John. We pretty much overran them, however going to a football game is always a lot of fun. The biggest wave I had ever witnessed happened as well – went around about 12 times (about 6 minutes) before a really big play happened, and everyone got up to cheer. Sunday was Steelers football, so I went back to the Fiddle and watched it on a fuzzy Fox sports channel. I...
